Privacy policy
The short version
PopulationTracker.io has no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms. It does not ask for, store or sell personal information. The site may show advertising served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies as described below, and the hosting infrastructure keeps standard technical logs to run the service.
What is processed
- Server logs. The hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested page — to deliver the site, protect it against abuse and produce aggregate traffic statistics. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build visitor profiles.
- Aggregate visit metrics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-less measurement service that counts visits and page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifiers on your device and does not track you across other sites.
- Email. Messages sent to the contact address are kept only as long as needed to handle them.
Advertising
When advertising is enabled, this site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads, cap how often you see them, measure performance and — where you have consented — personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent dialog before any advertising cookies are set, and can decline or change their choice at any time.
- Third-party vendors participating in Google's ad network may also place cookies subject to the same consent controls.
What this site does not do
- No accounts, profiles or tracking of individual visitors by the site itself.
- No sale of personal information.
- No tracking scripts beyond the advertising described above and the cookie-less aggregate visit counting described earlier.
US state privacy rights
This site does not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar US state laws. Ad personalisation by Google, where it applies, is controlled by the consent and opt-out mechanisms linked above.
Children
This site is a general-audience statistical reference and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
